What do you think controls and determines the quality of your life? According to Tony Robbins, it is your EMOTIONS! And the source of all emotions is the combination of three forces: 1. PHYSIOLOGY. 2. FOCUS. 3. LANGUAGE
PHYSIOLOGY is the way you use your physical body – how you breath, your posture, your expression, the way you move.
By changing your physiology you can instantly change the way you feel!
FOCUS means that whatever you focus on is what you feel.
Your brain can only focus on one thing at a time and it is entirely up to you what it will be.
LANGUAGE means that we interpret everything that happens to us through the words that we use.
Words are very powerful – they can hypnotize us and condition us to be whomever we want to be or don’t want to be (if it is done subconsciously).
Action
1. It is impossible to feel down when you are walking with your head up, smiling and breathing deeply!
Remember this and use it any time to increase energy and positive emotions.
2. Wherever focus goes, energy flows. If you find yourself feeling low, you are probably focusing on and replaying in your mind something negative.
Use your intelligence and your power of choice to decide what you will focus on and, therefore, what you will feel.
3. Be aware of what you regularly say to yourself. Is it encouraging and empowering or do you tend to criticize and put yourself down?
What kind of questions do you regularly ask yourself?
As Robbins points out, “If you want to change your life – change your questions!”
The 60 Second “Power” Exercise
Step 1: Put your posture the way you would be if you were sad. Do it right now. Then put the expression on your face that you would have if you were sad right now. How do you feel? A little sad?
Step 2: Stand up (really do this right now) and shake your body out. Then, stand tall and upright with your head up high and a confident (almost cocky) expression on your face! The kind of expression you’d have it you were thinking “That’s right, I’m the best!” “I rock!” Notice how you feel now. Don’t you have more energy and confidence how than you did when you were in the first position?
Step 3: Jump up and down as if you just hit a home run. Do it! (and remember to make the wooo-hooo noises!) Now how amazing do you feel now?!!
How Your Body Creates Confidence. Your body can tell your mind how to feel. When you move your body in a way that creates confidence, you feel confident.
This confidence will carry with you when you are having your initial session with clients so that they are more likely to hire you.
It will be with you when you are at networking events and you introduced yourself.
And it will be a powerful tool for every area of your life. You’ll only realize the power of this technique if you actually did the exercises above.

Putting it into action.
Before a “critical” moment in your business (or life) take a second to move your body in a way that makes you feel great!
The more extreme you are in your movements, the bigger the shift in your emotional energy.
