How To Quit Biting Your Nails

October 23rd, 2008 at 11:00pm Under Motivation

Biting your nails is a weird kind of habit. Lots of children start off biting their nails and, if you’re lucky, the habit stops even before you become a teenager. Likely helped by one or both of your parents yelling at you to stop biting your nails. Now!.

But what can you do if your nail biting carries on into your adult life?

Because let’s be honest here, if there’s nothing visible left of your nails your fingers just look plain ugly. On top of that, how do you hide the fact that you’re gnawing away at your nails while you’re sat at your computer or in front of workmates.

The nasty tasting potions that are sold in places like Amazon are more aimed at children..

So is there anything else can you do to stop your habit? Or are you doomed to forever biting your nails whenever you get the chance?

As a starter, think whether there is some kind of external trigger that drives you to feast on your nails. Maybe it’s nerves. It could be caused by stress or worry in your life. If you’re fortunate enough to be able to work out this stimulus, that’s an excellent start as you can then work on methods to either get rid of the thing that causes you to start biting your nails or you can work on ways to change your reaction to the problem. Whatever, it’s a great start and could mean that you’re on your way to learning how nail clippers work at last.

If your attempts to find the trigger that makes you bite your nails – if the first thing you know is that your nails are being attacked by your teeth again – no problem. There will be something causing it, but you’re clueless as to what it is. In this instance, splash out a few dollars on a hypnosis MP3 download that’s been written to help people like you stop biting their nails. Then all you need to do is listen to the track and let it work it’s magic.

You can find out more about how you can use hypnosis to stop biting your nails here.

Ways To Watch Less TV

October 23rd, 2008 at 11:00pm Under General

Television. Love it or hate it, we almost all watch it. Hours and hours of it

Quite a lot of people would prefer to watch less television if they could work out how to. Consciously or just as background noise and flicker.

There’s a reasonable chance that if I came up to you and asked you to tell me about the program you have just seen, you’d remember at least some of it. But yesterday’s television? Or last week? Errr. Your recall probably isn’t as good.

So how can you stop yourself turning into that couch potato?

Here are 5 simple tips and tricks to help you cut down the amount of television you watch.

1. Use the standby button

Eek! Actually turn off the television? In some households, the thing stays on 24 hours a day. But if you’re on your own and the television is really just a distraction in the background, turn the darn thing off.

2. Diarize with yourself to watch the important shows

There are probably a few television shows that you never want to miss. Maybe it’s Kiefer Sutherland saving the world (again) in 24. Or possibly there’s no way you want to miss the next instalment on how those desperate housewives are coping. Whatever your choices, it’s good. Keep watching those. We’re talking about cutting out all the other shows that you just watch because the broadcasters broadcast them.

3. Turn off the news

Another big issue for a lot of people. But nothing much really newsworthy actually happens and if it does, you’ll hear about it soon enough. Most of the time, watching the news rotate on television is just an excuse for wallowing in other people’s suffering. Cut those negative vibes from your life and reward yourself with lots of hours to do something nice instead.

4. Use that television recorder

Set the timer record for those “must watch” programs. And series link them. Then relax and watch them, but with your finger poised to fast forward through all the trailers and commercial breaks. This will cut your viewing time down dramatically, probably around a quarter to a third. Trust me, this is an easy and useful habit to get into.

5. Use hypnosis to help

Yes. This works a treat. Simply listen to a special hypnosis track to help you watch less television and you’ll quickly find your mind coming up with other things to do than sit and watch tv.

Easy Cures For Your Blushing

October 21st, 2008 at 09:10am Under General

Blushing whenever someone or a group of people tease and taunt you is very normal.

The only time that you should start worrying is when you blush excessively, especially when there is no apparent reason for your blushes.

Blushing is usually triggered when you feel embarrassed or anxious and sometimes when you eat hot and spicy foods.

When you blush, the blood vessels in your face open up, making you look red from the ears to the neck with the heart palpitating at times.

This is a very normal phenomenon but if it occurs excessively, you may begin to feel very self-conscious and may not act normally around other people.

If you don’t know any cures for blushing and leave it as it is, there may come a time when you will develop a fear or phobia of it and thus worsen the scenario.

There are a number of different cures for blushing that are recommended by both doctors and psychiatrists. These vary in their effectiveness but at best will stop your annoying blushing habit.

Anybody can have the tendency to blush excessively and believe it or not people do notice it.

It’s worth trying several different blushing cures, to see which one works best for you. You may even find that different cures work best in different situations.

Some of these cures come from research while others are just simple ways in relaxing your nervous system.

  • As soon as you realize you’ve started to blush, take some deep breaths. Take a long, deep breath in and then exhale equally slowly, in order to calm your nervous system and begin to reduce the severity of your blushing.
  • Cut out spicy foods from your diet, at least when you’re eating with others and your blushing will be noticed.
  • Download and listen to a hypnosis track to reduce your blushing problem.

Helpful Tips To Stop Feeling Shy When You're Naked

October 20th, 2008 at 10:16am Under General

Forunately it’s not a frequent occurrence that we have to strip off all our clothes and be naked. But there are some times when it’s necessary, for example, in the communal shower after a game of soccer with your team. And there are other times when you’d like to share an intimate moment or two with your partner.

So what can you do if the very thought of being in the nude with other people fills you with dread?

1. Get in the nude when you’re on your own

It might be the mere thought of being naked and vulnerable is the main cause of your shyness. When you’re on your own and there’s no chance of anyone disturbing you, lock all the doors, draw the blinds and take off your clothes. You don’t have to do a striptease – just take them off the exact same way that you’d do if you were getting ready to take a shower or a bath. Then wander around the room and begin to get accustomed to not wearing any clothes. Congratluations! You’ve taken your first step to becoming more comfortable with yourself when you’re not protected by clothes and losing your shyness of being naked.

2. Realize that we’re almost all the same

Unless you come from a different planet, you’re going to be similar to around half the humans on the planet. Maybe you’re a bit taller or shorter. Your weight is likely a few pounds different. But fundamentally, you’re either a man or a woman and you’re quite similar to near enough every other male or female. This should help your conscious mind to rationalize your fears, at least a bit.

3. Seek out help

One of the fastest ways to get over your being naked phobia is to seek assistance. And one of the best ways to do this is to use a specially constructed hypnosis track to overcome your worry of being naked. It’s inexpensive, you can listen to it over again, it’s completely discreet and it really does work. Download a hypnosis track to get rid of your phobia of being naked here.

How To Reduce Your Crowds Phobia

October 17th, 2008 at 09:06pm Under General

Unless you live in absolutely the middle of nowhere, you’re almost never far away from a crowd.

Which makes it a problem if you’re afraid of crowds.

The problem is, crowds can appear as if from thin air. You could be standing in a shopping mall or empty street, then you turn around and you’re surrounded by people and more people. Like a scene out of the movies.

Most of the time, there’s actually nothing dangerous about crowds. However, if you are afraid of crowds then it’s not much use trying to tell your mind that. There’s a good likelihood that your mind will be working overtime, deciding on exactly how this current crowd can be harmful to you. Regardless of the fact that they’re just a group of strangers intent on minding their own business, not a lynch mob.

So what are your options to make yourself calmer if you’re unfortunate enough to find yourself standing in the center of a large, seemingly angry, crowd?

Listening to your rational mind saying “it’s OK” will likely be as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Taking a few deep breaths may work. Or at least stop you panicking totally.

Then let your survival instinct take over and head for the closest exit. Steadily. Without running.

After that, you need to do something more.

If it’s possible, think back to when you first became frightened of crowds. It probably goes back to your childhood and you lost track of your parents for a few super-scary minutes. Quite often, phobias such as this one go a long way back in our life to our time as a child and we weren’t as rational and straight thinking as we are as an adult.

If it’s possible to trace your fear of crowds back to one particular time, one of the best ways to cure yourself is to modify the response you learned in those few minutes. This is quite easy to do but is something you should seek professional help with.

That said, one thing you can use is a hypnosis track for fear of crowds – this works most of the time for most people and well worth checking out as your first step to curing yourself.

How to Cure Your Spider Phobia

October 17th, 2008 at 09:06pm Under General

If you suffer from arachnophobia (fear of spiders), what options do you have?

You can scream or run away to find assistance from a family member who doesn’t suffer from the same fear of these off looking creatures.

Or maybe you can be cruel and vacuum the poor, defenseless creature away from your home.

In the short term, one of these options probably the only solution open to you.

But let’s face it, you’re hundreds of times bigger than even the beastliest spider. So when did you decide to allow these marvels of nature to rule your life?

Start by finding out how deep your fear of spiders is. I’m guessing that because you’re reading this page, you’re OK with the actual printed word “spider”. But you’d likely prefer not to get any closer than that.

Some cures for fear of spiders involve looking at photos or pictures of spiders and you could use (say) Google’s image search to do this, but unless I was treating you face to face, it’s unlikely you’d do this. If you’re feeling brave, give this a go now, but don’t worry if you don’t.

Instead, see if you can remember when you first became scared of spiders. Were you afraid of the spider? Or did the look and feel of the spindly spider’s web creep you out, maybe as you accidentally walked into it and it got caught in your hair? If it’s the latter, there’s a good chance that your phobia has been strengthened by various movies – cobwebs feature in a large number of horror movies.

Then think back further in time. Were you merrily playing a game with a spider when your sister found you and started screaming? If so, that is near enough guaranteed to be the exact time you learned that you were “supposed” to be afraid of spiders rather than co-existing with them.

On the plus side, since you learned fast to be afraid of spiders, you can “unlearn” just as fast. If you’ve got a hypnotist in town, they’ll sort you out. Or you could save quite a lot of cash and still get your phobia removed by getting hold of a hypnosis spider phobia cure and listening to it a few times. You can get immediate access to a hypnosis cure for your arachnophobia here.

Understanding Anxiety Panic Attacks and How to Control Them

October 16th, 2008 at 08:21pm Under Stress

If you suffer from an anxiety disorder, you will be very mindful of the profound sensation of suddenly feeling lost, trapped or perhaps sick to your stomach all simultaneously. Anxiety panic attacks are frequent among sufferers of various anxiety disorders. If you are one of these folk, then you know only too well how out of control they make you feel and you likely want to put a stop to them. Read on to learn more about coping with anxiety panic attacks and how to control them more efficiently.

If you are a sufferer of anxiety panic attacks, it is important that you understand exactly what they are and how they happen. An attack starts out when stress and anxiety levels increase to a point where they are unmanageable by the individual who is experiencing the episode. The individual will rapidly descend into a state of panic and fearfulness of surroundings, feeling that they are dying or having a heart attack and even going crazy. Effectively, the mind is telling the body that it is experiencing a discomfort that is in all probability not real. Depending on the severity of the attack, they can last anywhere up to around fifteen minutes. The experience oftentimes causes a vicious circle where the person fears another attack, which just causes the symptoms to worsen.

Keeping a cool head during an anxiety panic attack is difficult to do, particularly when you suffer from an anxiety disorder. However, if this is something you have to deal with for the rest of your life, it is important to master the art of stress management. Anxiety panic attacks come on rapidly so the best thing to do in most cases is to calm down and then lay down. Once you do this, you can attempt to relax your brain by stating that it will pass and telling yourself that the anguish you are experiencing is not real. You can endeavor to prevent these episodes by asking yourself why do I have anxiety attacks and learning what sparks them off. For instance, do they occur in certain situations or do negative thoughts bring them on?

It is possible to take the controlling techniques to the next level in order to eliminate your anxiety panic attacks. You can begin by teaching yourself relaxation exercises. You will want to opt for something that is right for you. Several of the more popular choices are listening to relaxing music, reading and practicing yoga. Once you learn what an anxiety panic attack is and what to do to control them, your life should be on the road to recovery. Anxiety disorders can make life complex but with a clear mind and a lot of determination you should be able to handle whatever they throw your way.

The Best Self Hypnosis Techniques For Self Improvement

October 16th, 2008 at 08:21pm Under General

Learning self hypnosis can be a lot easier than it sounds. It can be learnt in the quiet of your own home without spending any money on things like books, audio tapes, expensive visits to hypnotists or spiritual gurus.

By practising a few of the best self hypnosis techinques, you can achieve a state of deep relaxation. Finding yourself a comfortable place where you will have complete quiet is one of the first things you should aim for. You dont want to be disturbed while trying to learn self hypnosis.

You’ll also want to learn how to relax your muscles, how to sit or lay down, and you’ll also want to learn what to do once you are in a subconscious state.

Going Under

A subconscious state is often referred to as “going under”. This generally means that the conscious mind is “asleep” so a hypnotist can talk directly to the subconscious mind. You will be able to do this yourself when you learn some self hypnosis techniques which have been known to work.

Please remember that different people will use different techniques. It is always best to try a variety of self hypnosis techniques before settling on the one that works best for you.

First, find a comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed for a long period of time. When you’re first starting out, it may take you an hour or more to officially go under. This quiet location could be your bedroom, a local park, or it you could even choose your backyard with the sun shining on your face. You should make sure the place offers complete peace and quiet so that you can concentrate on the rest of the self hypnosis techniques.

Apply yourself to your breathing, focus on the air entering and exiting your body. Relax all the muscles in your body and empty your mind of all thoughts. You will find yourself profoundly relaxed. This state is often compared to sleeping without being asleep. Once this state is achieved you can do almost anything you please.

A lot of people often use a self hypnosis script. They also often give themselves instructions and suggestions once they have achieved self hypnosis. The script can include things like mantras to help them quit smoking, to help lose weight, to gain a better memory, and to learn to love themselves.

It is your own personal preference as to what goals you wish to achieve with self hypnosis. It may be for self improvement, it could just as easily be simply a way to relax from the stresses of day to day life. Only you will know what you want and need. With enough practise, you will soon become a master at self hypnosis.

WHEN IS THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST

October 16th, 2008 at 08:21pm Under General

According to the World Book encyclopedia, “No one knows the exact date of Christ’s birth, but most Christians observe Christmas on December 25th. On this day many attend church services, and take part in special religious activities.”

The encyclopedia also states that, “The first mention of the celebration of Christmas occurred in AD 336 in an early Roman calendar which indicates December 25th as the day of observance. This celebration was probably influenced by pagan [unchristian] festivals held at that time. The ancient Romans honored Saturn their harvest god, and Mithras the god of light at the end of the year. Various peoples in northern Europe held festivals in mid December to celebrate the end of the harvest season”

Is the notion that no one knows the exact date of Christ’s birth true?

Does this give anyone the license to connect the name of Jesus Christ, to the worship of pagan gods?

One of the instructions the Lord gave the children of Israel when they left Egypt was this; “I am the Lord your God. The doings of the land of Egypt where you came from; and the doings of the land of Canaan where you are going, you should not practice. Their ordinances you should not follow. You shall pay regards to my judgments and observe my ordinances, to walk in them: I am the Lord your God. If a man observe my statutes and judgments, he shall live by them: I am the Lord. 18:2-5).

We are reminded in the New Testament that, “God is Spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in Spirit and truth.” Therefore, is there any veracity in celebrating December 25th as the date of Christ’s birth?

If the saying that, “No one knows the exact date of Christ’s birth” is true, then this must be a conspiracy to conceal his true identity, and to deny him of his honor and reverence.

The gospel of John chapter seven verses twenty five to twenty seven tends to suggest something of this nature. Because on the last day of the feast of Tabernacles when Jesus spoke openly in the temple, knowing that they were plotting to kill him: some of the people who heard him spoke said, “Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ? Yet we know where this man comes from; and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from.”

This seems to suggest that the notion, “When the Christ appears, no one will know where he [Christ] comes from” has gain acceptance and credibility through the world.

But according to the scriptures, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Word of God who was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us was well known by the authorities, the affirmed this by saying, “Yet we know where this man comes from” and so the whole details of his date of birth was not a secret.

On the exact day on which Christ was born we are told that, “In the region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night, and an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, “Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all people; for to you is born this day [today] in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. In a manger you will find a baby lying, and wrapped in swaddling clothes; this will be your sign.2:8-12).

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!”

As soon as the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherd said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.Without wasting any time, they left and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it they [widely]made known the saying which had been told them concerning this child, and all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them”(Lk.2:13-18).

Was the birth of Christ a secret?

How could such a remarkable day and event which was widely made known not be recorded in history: If it is not through a conspiracy to conceal it?

At the end of eight days, we are told that he was circumcised, and was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. (Lk.2:21).

When the days of Mary’s purification was completed, which according to the law; thirty three [33] days for a male child, Jesus was brought to Jerusalem to be presented to the Lord [as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord].

A Just and devout man who was filled with the Holy Spirit, was in Jerusalem during this time, awaiting the consolation of Israel. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

through the inspiration of the Spirit he went to the temple. When Simeon saw the child who was brought to the temple by his parents, according to the custom of the law, he took hin in his arms and blessed God and said, " Your salvation which you have prepared before the face of all peoples, to bring a light of revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel my eyes have now seen. Now Lord let your servant depart in peace, according to your word.2:25-32).

How could such a remarkable day, in the life of such a remarkable individual not be recorded in history!

Some people make excuses by saying that, the date of Christ’s birth is not that important, hence the reason why his date of birth is not known.

The irony of truth is; if Jesus Christ was not born on the day on which he was born, we would not have had a Savior, and we would still be in our sins. What further proof and declaration one needs apart from the angel's appearance, and his pronouncement saying, "For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord,"And the presence of the multitude of the heavenly host who praised God and said, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and towards men good will!”

THE BIRTH OF CHRIST INAUGURATED HIM AS THE KING OF KINGS

The prophet Isaiah prophesying about the birth and reign of the Prince of peace wrote, “For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting father, Prince of peace.” ‘Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and for evermore. It will be done through the eagerness of the Lord of hosts.9:6-7).

When the wise men from the east came to Jerusalem seeking for Jesus, they did not say “Where is he who is born to be the king of the Jews?Instead, "Where is he who has been born King of the Jews?” For we have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship him. They felt down and worshiped the young child when the saw him with his mother mary in the house. As King ,God, and Man, when they opened their treasures, they presented to him gold, frankincense and myrrh.Jesus Christ became King from birth.

During his earthly trial before Pilate, Pilate called him and asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews? Jesus replied, "My kingdom is not for this time. My servants would fight, if my kingdom was of this world, in order that I should not be handed over to the Jews, but my kingdom is not from here. Therefore said Pilate to him, Are you a King then?"You rightly say that I am a King," Jesus replied. hence the reason I was born: and for this purpose I have entered the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice” (Jn.18:33-37).

FEAST OF TABERNACLES IS THE FEAST OF THE LORD

In the book of Leviticus chapter twenty three, verse thirty nine states the following; “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall keep [not a feast unto the Lord] but the feast of the Lord seven days; on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.”

This festival of the Lord is so vitally important that, in the millennium when God’s kingdom will be established on earth, “Every one that survives of all nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of Tabernacles. And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the lord of hosts, there will be no rain upon them. If the family of Egypt refuse to present themselves before the Lord during the Feast of Tabernacles, the same plague which will afflict the other nations, will afflict them also. This will be the punishment of Egypt and of the nations who will not celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.14:16-19).

To the Israelites and their succeeding generations, this festival is a reminder to remind them

That; “God made the people of Israel dwell in booths when he brought them out of the land of Egypt:’ and that the lord is their God” (Lev.23:43).

Today, this festival commemorates the day on which the Word became flesh and tabernacle among us, and we all received our permanent dwelling in him, for in him we live, and move and have our being. He is the vine and we are the branches. Our everlasting life can only be built on this one foundation.

THE EIGHTH DAY

The eight day commemorates the circumcision of Jesus Christ, by which we all may become heirs to the promise which God made to Abraham. Because of the circumcision of Christ, when we put away the body of sin of the flesh, we also become circumcised with the circumcision made without hands.2:11).

According to the covenant God made with Abraham, every male child must be circumcised in the foreskins of his flesh, as an everlasting covenant between God and Abraham. At eight days old, every male who is born in your house, or bought from a stranger who is not your descendant; must be circumcised and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.17:10-13).

THE DAY OF CHRIST’S DEATH LEADS TO THE DAY OF HIS BIRTH

It is generally accepted according to the book of Luke that, “Jesus himself began his ministry at about thirty years of age.He ministered for three and a half years .He died on the fourteenth day of the first month, six months before the expiration of his thirty fourth birthday, and pointing to the fifteenth day of the seventh month as the date of his birth. The months are based according to the Jewish sacred calendar, and not the Jewish civil calendar.

Jesus’ ministry began at the Feast of Tabernacles. It is written, “Now the Jews feast of Tabernacles was at hand. So his brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea that your disciples may see the works you are doing. One should not perform his work in secret, if he seeks to be publicly known. If you do these things, why not let the world see what you are doing. He was not believed even by his own brothers.7:2-5)

About the middle of the Feast Jesus went up to the temple and taught. The Jews marveled at it, saying, “How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied? (Jn.7:14-15).

Three and a half years of ministry beginning with the Feast of Tabernacles, on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, and culminating with his death on the 14th day of the first month at the Passover.

The birth of John Baptist also points to the birth of Jesus Christ to the seventh month of the Jewish sacred calendar.

It was the official duty of Aaron and four of his sons, namely; Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar to offer sacrifices on the altar of burnt offering and the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded (1Chro.6:49; 1Chro.23:27-32).

Two of the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu died before Aaron their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests. The duties of the Altar were shared by David among the sons of Eleazar who numbered sixteen, and the sons of Ithamar who numbered eight.(1Chro.24:1-4).

Dividing twenty four divisions to serve during a period of twelve months means that, each division would have to serve for a period of two (2) weeks: or more precisely two weeks, one day, and four hours, by dividing fifty two weeks in the year into twenty four divisions.

The scriptures state that Abijah from whom Zacharias the father of John Baptist descended was of the eighth division. During the time Zacharias was officiating at the altar which was during the last part of the fourth month,or between the fourteenth and the sixteenth week, he was visited by the angel.

Now according to Luke’s gospel, “As soon as the days of his [Zacharias’] service were completed, that he departed to his own house’. When those days were over, his wife Elizabeth conceived; and for five months hid herself and said,"In this manner has the Lord dealt with me, to take away my reproach among men, now that he has looked on me.”

Zacharias leaving the temple at the end of the fourth month mute, and unable to speak because he did not believe what the angel told him, went home to his wife at the beginning of the fifth month, therefore we can conclude the Elizabeth was conceived during the fifth month.

Nine months of normal pregnancy will lead us to the birth of John Baptist, to be during the first month of the following year. John the Baptist was six months older than Jesus Christ. This is well documented in scriptures.1:26, 36). Since it is calculated that John baptist was born during the first month, it leads to the seventh month as the time of Christ's birth. According to the Jewish sacred calendar the first month of the year is the first new moon in spring which is around middle of March to the beginning of April. And the seventh month begins with the new moon in the fall. between late Spetember and early Octobe.

Have a joyous feast of Tabernacles which begins on Monday 13th October 2008, and concludes with the Eighth day on Tuesday 21st October 2008

With brotherly Love

How To Stop Your Fear of Dogs

October 16th, 2008 at 08:21pm Under General

Being scared of dogs is quite common. The fear is quite often triggered when we’re younger. Maybe you were enjoying a game with a dog and suddenly there were bare teeth and loud barks. If that happens when you’re older, no problem, you can handle it. But when you’re younger, almost in an instant your mind is trained to think that dogs are not as nice as you thought they were.

Since we learn fast when we put our mind to it, this impression sticks with us. Whether we like the idea or not.

So is there anything you can do to get rid of your phobia of dogs? After all, most of them just want to make friends with you and regularly fetch a stick or ball for you.

You could try and rationalize that “dogs are my friends” but you and I both know that it’s highly unlikely you’ll believe that kind of talk. Above all as there’s almost certainly a voice in your head yelling (in true pantomime fashion) “oh no they aren’t!”

The next step is to get a little bit closer to dogs so you can see them but don’t stand any chance of actually meeting one face to face or have it jump up at you and smother you with muddy paw prints. Pictures work well for this stage. Unless your mind is working overtime, you know that the picture is actually some dollops of ink on paper or pixels on your computer monitor. So this is quite a safe transition stage for most people and you’ll likely notice your mind getting slightly less worried at the idea of encountering a dog in real life.

But all that is quite tedious and can take what seems like forever. Plus going the slow route won’t work if your children absolutely must have a dog and there’s no way you can talk them out of it?

A much speedier way to get over things like a fear of dogs|being afraid of dogs is to use hypnosis. Hypnosis works unobtrusively in the background. And no-one but you need ever know you’re using it as you can instantly download a hypnosis MP3 for dog phobia and listen to it until your fear melts away.
